niños de agatha tormenta

EMS crews from Comandos de Salvamento evacuated victims of Tropical Storm Agatha in Bajo Lempa today. The refugees where transferred to shelters run by National Civil Protection of El Salvador.

There were four washed out areas, the largest reported to be 10 meters in diameter located at La Comunidad Las Victorias, along El Bulevar del Ejercito Nacional.  There were reports of panic among those living in this area where they had built shacks in an old trash dump. Many friendly neighbors have taken in other neighbors who have lost belongings while they await transport to nearby shelters. Fotos: CDS
