Recently, Comandos de Salvamento and other NGOs, did a medical brigade visit to Cantón El Carmen, Department of La Paz. Over 250 people, children and elderly adults received free medical consultation and medicine. Dr. Orellana reports:
On February 7th, CDS traveled to Miraflores, San Pedro Masahuat, Department of La Paz, participating with other governmental and nongovernmental institutions in a multidisciplinary health brigade.
Comandos offered medical consultations, medication support and suturing for small injuries. The brigade took place under the directive of Comandos’ Health Director Mrs. Rose Arrue and CDS physicians Dr. Julio Cesar Orellana and Dr. Ena Margarita de Orellana.
Assessment and findings: 140 patients of all ages.
