This Sunday, the traditional “correo” parade formerly commenced the  “Fiestas Agostinos” dedicated to the patron saint of El Salvador del Mundo. Comando Volunteers participated in the parade to offer security in case of emergencies. Eight Ambulances and 50 EMS workers accompanied the parade that went throughout the main streets in San Salvador. Comandos will also be participating in the traditional “comercial” parade on Aug 3, and the infamous lowering of the Salvador del Mundo Statue on Aug 5. Congratulations to every Salvadoran that soon will be on vacation. Comandos will continue to work and be ever ready for emergencies. Fotos: Francisco Campos.
