Comandos de Salvamento worked hard this Wednesday November 10th in the body recovery of 16 inmates that burned to death in the juvenile jail, “Centro Alternativo de Jóvenes Infractores” in the town of Ilobasco, department of Cabañas. EMS crews also transported 20 burn patients to different hospitals throughout Ilobasco and San Salvador. First to arrive on scene were our delegate base members of Sensuntepeque who then alerted the main base to mobilize three more CDS Units, 2 from San Salvador and one from San Martin to give necessary support. Preliminary reports from authorities in charge indicate that the fire in “sector one” was due to a short circuit. Investigations continue at this time. Fotos: CDS, Terra Networks, S.A.
