CDS veteran Luis Colatto spent two weeks working with local EMS agency Ballard Ambulance in Wenatchee, and Quincy Community Health in the state of Washington. Colato together with International Representative of CDS Mark Hoffman, who currently resides in Wenatchee also did a presentation on the work of CDS over the last 50 years at Grant County Fire District. Comandos thanks firefighters Nigel and David, paramedics Sean and Scott Ballard, and health promoters Katy Hirschler and Mary Jo Ibarra for making the name of CDS known in the community and for hosting Luis in some job shadowing. We hope this will lead to further international collaboration in the future and invite these people down to our Central Base for some cross cultural immersion in Salvadoran style EMS.
