Comandos de Salvamento and the Salvadoran Airforce again collaborated together in rescue excercises Majahual Beach . According to the “script”, two vacationers were swept away by ocean waves in an area known as the reventazón. A Comando rescue swimmer accesses the victims by jumping from a Vietnam era UH helicopter and via rescue bungee, is lifted from the water and flown to the beach into the hands of higher qualified medical personell.
