CDS Medical Brigades traveled to the areas of Puerto Parada and Berlin in the dept. of Usulután to offer medical consults to those affected by tropical storm 12E.  Flooding in these areas have affected those communities by damaging their homes and increasing the risk of illness.  The Comandos did general health consults in the community center of Berlin and also El Icaco where many patients came from outlying smaller communities that are called cantones in Spanish.  More than 500 patients were prescribed medications.  Peoples Popular Aid of Norway sponsored the medications at a cost of more than 5,ooo$ and CDS is thankful for this collaboration to help meet the needs of Salvadorans.
