An Urban Rescue Squad was dispatched from the Central base of Comandos to extricate 43 yo Leonilo Avalos Coto who was trapped inside his vehicle.  The accident took place when he was driving along the highway towards San Matias, Quezaltepeque and a route 108 bus hit him head on. Witnesses on scene state the bus lost control causing the accident. 44yo Silvia Campos his spouse, and his 11yo son Jonathan were also injured and transported to a private hospital in San Salvador.
