COMANDOS HELP EXTINGUISH FIRE IN CIUDAD ARCE

Five public-transport units were consumed Tuesday night at a lot where several microbuses were kept.

The incident occurred at kilometer 40, in Barrio El Rosario, on the old road to Santa Ana, apparently due to a short circuit in one of the units on route 100A. Six microbuses were removed.

The Cuerpo de Bomberos, Comandos de Salvamento, Red Cross, and Municipal Protección Civil fought for several minutes to control the flames, which caused hundreds in material losses to the public-transport units.
