Rescuers ask the public to maintain distance between people.

Rescuers from Comandos de Salvamento in Ciudad Arce, Santa Ana, have begun a campaign to raise awareness among people boarding public transportation units in that town.

The volunteers board buses to provide a series of recommendations for staying free of the coronavirus, explaining proper handwashing, as well as household cleaning to avoid becoming a victim of COVID-19. They also ask that, if you have nothing to do outside your home, it is best to stay at home.

Comandos de Salvamento, an organization with 60 years of service to the Salvadoran people and more than 1,500 volunteers in its 29 branches, is coordinating its work with the municipal commissions and Protección Civil to call on the public to comply with the Government’s provisions under the mandatory home quarantine currently in effect.

Follow these recommendations.
