GARAY FAMILY JOINS THE PEOPLE’S CRY
This post is also available in:

Members of the Garay Family joined the people’s cry in order to bring some food to one hundred family groups in several areas of San Salvador.
Fito Garay, an active volunteer member of Comandos de Salvamento, together with other family members, prepared one hundred bags with a food supply for the same number of families in need during this pandemic and affected by Tropical Storm Amanda.
From the early hours of Saturday, together with several rescuers from Comandos de Salvamento, they traveled through downtown San Salvador, communities, and areas affected along Carretera de Oro, delivering basic food baskets to people.
In addition, the rescuers provided food to young Camilleros volunteers who are also helping on the front line and who have also been forgotten, since they too are in need, as they are volunteers who risk their lives every day without receiving a cent in payment, simply with the satisfaction of serving others.
Comandos de Salvamento, together with the Garay Family, is calling on the public to remember these young volunteers and somehow thank them for their sacrifice. Any donation can be delivered to their central offices at 9ª Calle Oriente and 16ª Avenida Norte #834 in San Salvador, two blocks downhill from Parque Centenario, or call (503) 2133-0000.
