Young people from Sacacoyo receive a basic first-aid course.

More than twenty young people from Sacacoyo are being trained in basic first aid under the direction of Comandos de Salvamento, in order to become part of a new station that will provide emergency services to the population.

Its Mayor, Mayra Zetino, recently asked the authorities of Comandos de Salvamento to establish a branch in order to provide emergency services to the population, as well as ambulance services so that the ailments of residents of the hamlets, cantons, and urban center can be attended to.

Twenty-three young people from Sacacoyo have enrolled to train in basic first aid, as well as stretcher handling, so they can assist people who need it. They have therefore begun the course and will subsequently undergo the additional instruction provided by the “Yolanda Elizabeth Ramírez” Comandos de Salvamento School.
