COMANDOS AND BOMBEROS CONTROL FIRE IN FURNITURE FACTORY

Responders from Comandos de Salvamento assisted the Cuerpo de Bomberos Nacionales this morning in extinguishing the flames that consumed a small furniture factory located at kilometer 7 of the Carretera Troncal del Norte.

Due to the material where the fire started, it spread rapidly, destroying most of the raw materials, as well as a vehicle that was inside the small establishment.

Workers and neighbors managed to remove some finished items while awaiting the arrival of the rescue teams and Bomberos to control the fire and prevent it from spreading to neighboring homes.

No victims were reported in the incident, only material damage.
