GUNSHOT WOUND VICTIM IN BARRIO SAN MIGUELITO

Comandos de Salvamento, assisted a man who was wounded by gunfire in a confusing incident, as the victim was returning from buying fast food to have dinner with his family when he was attacked in his vehicle in Barrio San Miguelito in San Salvador.

The incident occurred at around nine-thirty at night, on 25ª. Calle Oriente near the Barrio San Miguelito Health Unit.

The victim, identified as Santana Ruiz Granados, 62, sustained three gunshot wounds, two to the right forearm and one to the right leg. The reasons for the attack remain unknown.

Comandos de Salvamento stabilized the victim and transported him to the General Social Security Hospital.
