Comandos de Salvamento de El Salvador conducted a drill at approximately kilometer 4.5 of the Northern Trunk Highway to measure response time and capacity for handling emergencies during the Christmas and year-end season, since the number of traffic incidents has increased in recent days.
During the exercise, the emergency responders and rescuers from Comandos de Salvamento de El Salvador once again demonstrated that they have the necessary capacity to handle any type of emergency. In addition to having the necessary knowledge, they have the hydraulic equipment needed to free people who become trapped in traffic accidents.
This is being carried out as part of the Christmas and year-end festivities, as Comandos de Salvamento de El Salvador activates its 32 local sections and volunteers to remain alert for any incident.
They will also have strategic points staffed with personnel and ambulances during Christmas Eve so they can reach emergencies as quickly as possible and provide a better response to affected individuals.
In the event of any emergency, Comandos de Salvamento de El Salvador asks people to call 2133-0000 or 911.
