Emma Marshall, Vice President of the Youth Division of Norwegian People’s Aid, APN, is visiting the different branches of Comandos de Salvamento de El Salvador, including Ciudad Arce, Antiguo Cuscatlán, Juayúa, Sonsonate and Ilopango.
The APN youth representative seeks to learn firsthand about the needs and work carried out by the volunteers at the delegations, where she spoke with the young people to learn about their aspirations as rescuers.
Marshall is a fourth-year medical student at a university in Bergen, Norway, where she resides, and is currently part of Norwegian People’s Aid, APN, an organization that provides emergency assistance in the Nordic country.
Emma says that she loves El Salvador. In addition to the delicious pupusas she has already tasted, she also admires the young people who are part of Comandos de Salvamento de El Salvador. “It is very interesting to see how many young people are part of the Comandos; I liked that, and I think we will undertake efforts to arrange an exchange so that they can learn about the work we do in Norway.”
The Board of Directors and Executive Directorate of Comandos de Salvamento de El Salvador thank the young Norwegian Emma Marshall for her visit.
