TWO DEAD AND TWO INJURED IN TRUCK CRASH

Rescuers from Comandos de Salvamento de El Salvador and other institutions struggled to save the occupants of one of the crashed trucks. Two men lost their lives this morning on kilometer 20 of the Carretera al Puerto de La Libertad, near Zaragoza, when two cargo trucks collided; two others suffered injuries.

Comandos de Salvamento de El Salvador was alerted to the traffic accident at ten o’clock Wednesday morning.

The traffic accident involving two trucks transporting sand and brick blocks left the tragic toll of two dead, who were traveling in the truck transporting the bricks.

Rescuers from Comandos de Salvamento de El Salvador and other institutions used hydraulic equipment to free the occupants traveling in the truck loaded with bricks.

One of the deceased has been identified as José David Navarrete López, 30. Among the injured are Rafael Mauricio López, 33, and a person named Walter, approximately 45 years old.
