COMMANDOS FIGHT TO RESCUE VICTIM

Members of the Vehicle Rescue Unit of Comandos de Salvamento of El Salvador responded to a traffic accident recorded at around half past one in the early hours of this Sunday, on Venezuela Boulevard near Barrio Lourdes.

Upon arriving at the scene, they found two vehicles that had collided head-on, leaving one of the occupants trapped, making it necessary to use hydraulic equipment to free the victim, who was identified as Geovanny Ángel.

For several minutes, rescuers from Comandos de Salvamento and other institutions battled to remove Geovanny Ángel, who was caught between life and death. After being removed from the vehicle, he was rushed to Hospital Rosales, where he lost the battle.

According to initial information, the driver of the black automobile traveling from east to west struck the vehicle in which the deceased victim was traveling.
