Recently, members of the Board of Directors, executive leadership, and delegates from the regional branches of Comandos de Salvamento de El Salvador attended the inauguration of the new facilities of the Comandos de Salvamento headquarters in Guazapa.

Thanks to efforts carried out, the municipality granted the property where the municipal slaughterhouse operated on a 40-year loan for use, so that it could now become the headquarters where Comandos de Salvamento of Guazapa can provide assistance to the population in emergencies.

The facilities were financed in part by Norwegian People’s Aid, APN, a private company, and the Comandos de Salvamento central headquarters’ own funds, so that the Guazapa headquarters would now have suitable facilities and could establish an emergency clinic.

The new headquarters is located on the main street of Colonia San Antonio 1, where the emergency numbers 2393-6376 and 7135-6615 are available, as well as 911 or the central headquarters at 2133-000.
