Nearly 30 volunteers participated in the training conducted by the Gender Unit of Comandos de Salvamento of El Salvador.

Nearly thirty first responders from Comandos de Salvamento of El Salvador conducted a workshop called “Tools for Emotional Regulation.”

The workshop was aimed at volunteers from the branches in Apopa, Aguilares, and San Martín, where the young participants learned about managing their emotions.

The sessions were led by graduates Héctor Vásquez and Katherine García, who conducted individual and group activities with the participants.

The training will strengthen the emotional aspects of the first responders, which they will be able to put into practice both personally and within their families.

The Gender Unit of Comandos de Salvamento of El Salvador will continue providing this type of training thanks to funding from Norwegian Popular Aid, APN, and the Board of Directors.

Lic. Héctor Vásquez leads the workshop “Tools for Emotional Regulation” for first responders from Comandos de Salvamento of El Salvador.
