MOTORCYCLISTS CRASH INTO BRANCH ON THE PAN-AMERICAN HIGHWAY

On Monday night, two people traveling by motorcycle suffered several injuries after crashing into a branch that was on the Pan-American Highway in the direction from Santa Ana to San Salvador.

The rain and darkness brought bad luck to both motorcyclists, who were unable to stop their vehicles. The first of them collided with the branch and fell into the drainage ditch.

Responders from Comandos de Salvamento of El Salvador in Ciudad Arce provided assistance to transport him to a medical facility.

Minutes later, another motorcycle rider hit the same branch, causing trauma to different parts of his body, so it was necessary for him to be transported by members of the Emergency System, SEM.

Authorities placed warning signs and closed the passage for several minutes in order to enable free traffic through the area.
