This Friday, nearly 30 members of the international organization Doctors of the Americas traveled together with the doctors of Comandos de Salvamento of El Salvador to the El Espino sector, along the highway from Tecoluca to Zacatecoluca.

Elderly people, women, and children benefited from the free consultations provided by health professionals from the United States, who for more than 20 years have coordinated with Comandos de Salvamento of El Salvador to provide assistance to people with limited resources. In addition to the consultation, they are also given medications free of charge.

Several communities near this location benefited, including Buena Vista, El Copinol, and 10 de mayo, among others, whose residents were taken to the location where Doctors of the Americas provided care.

The U.S. doctors will continue this Saturday in Sonsonate, then next Monday they will travel to communities in the municipality of Alegría, on Tuesday they will be in Zaragoza, and they will conclude on Wednesday in Nejapa.
