On the morning of this Holy Thursday, several tourists who visited El Majahual Beach suffered jellyfish stings and were treated by the doctor on duty from Comandos de Salvamento de El Salvador at the first-aid post that has been set up in the area.

The volunteers of Comandos de Salvamento de El Salvador assisted the victims, stabilizing them and later reuniting them with their families so they could continue enjoying their vacation day.

Meanwhile, the lifeguard personnel maintaining surveillance in the area have kept vacationers alert so they do not risk being dragged away by the sea currents affecting part of the beach.

This is to prevent any incident that could affect the national and foreign tourists who have gathered in small numbers at the beaches of the Pacific Coast. In the Conchalio area, the lifeguards have not recorded any activity, as the number of vacationers has been minimal.

Tourists are not arriving at the San Diego river mouth, and the lifeguards hope that the arrival of vacationers will be noticeable by the weekend.

Conchalio received few tourists this Holy Thursday.
