In an unusual case, an argument over the loss of a female dog led to two men injuring each other in the area of Lake Ilopango, in the sector known as Poza Verde, in San Miguel Tepezontes.

The incident occurred last Saturday afternoon at around five in the afternoon, when both men, apparently intoxicated, began arguing over the loss of a female dog they had brought so they could enjoy the waters of Lake Ilopango as a couple.

First responders from Comandos de Salvamento de El Salvador, from the San Miguel Tepezontes branch, who maintain a first-aid post in the area, assisted the victim, who was attacked by his partner with a stone.

Following the blow, the man sustained a cut to the head, causing bleeding, so the Comandos de Salvamento volunteers provided him with pre-hospital care.

However, at the end of the treatment, both men embraced to apologize to each other for what had happened.
