Responders from Comandos de Salvamento de El Salvador, Apopa branch, were alerted Wednesday night about a traffic accident on kilometer 12.5 of Carretera de Oro.
Around midnight, the volunteers arrived at the scene of the crash, where they found the driver of a vehicle that had collided with a tree while traveling west to east.
One version is that a tractor-trailer forced the vehicle off the road, causing its occupant to lose control and collide with a tree.
Responders checked the victim and took his vital signs; however, he had already died from the trauma sustained.
The deceased victim was identified as Bryan Alfredo Molina Santos, 23. The young driver’s body was recovered from among the vehicle’s twisted metal so that it could be identified by judicial authorities.
