COMMANDS AT NEW YORK FIRE ACADEMY GALA

Representatives of Comandos de Salvamento of El Salvador were special guests at the 11th Gala of the World Fire Academy of New York, United States.

Efraín Méndez Solís, treasurer of Comandos de Salvamento, was accompanied by trustee David Martínez, where they presented a plaque of recognition to the members of the World Fire Academy of New York, who have already visited El Salvador.

Lieutenant General Juan Gutiérrez of the World Fire Academy of New York, together with Captain Ramona Torres and Colonel Nelson Elías Contreras, hosted the delegation from Comandos de Salvamento of El Salvador.

During the gala, Lieutenant General Juan Gutiérrez pledged before those in attendance that, during 2025, the World Fire Academy, which has taken fire tanker trucks to the Dominican Republic, “As an Academy, we are committed to bringing an ambulance for the Comandos in El Salvador,” Gutiérrez stated.

The members of the World Fire Academy of New York presented gifts for the president of Comandos de Salvamento of El Salvador, Rubia Palacios de Clímaco, and for trustee David Martínez.
