The physicians who are part of the U.S. organization Doctors of the Americas concluded this Wednesday the series of healthcare campaigns in different parts of the country, particularly serving Salvadorans with limited financial resources.

Comandos de Salvamento of El Salvador, which has served as the liaison with Doctors of the Americas for 20 years, carried out the logistical plan so that thousands of Salvadorans benefited from the consultations provided in 5 communities, where more than 250 people were treated during each campaign.

Physicians from Comandos de Salvamento of El Salvador joined the efforts of healthcare professionals from the United States of America. In addition to learning about the ailments of the people who attended the campaigns, they provided medication free of charge, as well as multivitamins brought by the foreign visitors.

Comandos de Salvamento of El Salvador once again expressed its gratitude for the noble gesture of Doctors of the Americas toward the Salvadoran people, presenting a plaque of recognition to each member of the international mission, led by Dr. Andrew Badulak and his wife Stephanie, who initiated this beautiful project.

Doctors of the Americas have already begun their fundraising campaign to purchase medication and supplies for next year, when they will return to continue their altruistic work.

Walter Peñate of the Estrella TV Network in Los Angeles speaks with Dr. Andrew and Stephanie Badular.
