Members of Comandos de Salvamento de El Salvador and the Medical Emergency System worked early this morning to try to reverse cardiac arrest in a motorcyclist who, minutes earlier, had lost control of the motorcycle he was riding and collided with the super sapos in the area.
Daniel Henríquez Turcios, 25, was traveling on his motorcycle and is presumed to have lost control of it and suffered trauma when he struck the super sapos. Comandos de Salvamento de El Salvador tried to assist the victim, who was experiencing respiratory problems.
They were joined by members of the Medical Emergency System, with whom they worked for several minutes to try to reverse the cardiac arrest, but some time later the victim was pronounced dead by the SEM physician.
Meanwhile, Comandos de Salvamento de El Salvador, from the Santa Ana delegation, are responding to a traffic accident on the highway from Santa Ana to Chalchuapa, near the area known as El Borbollón, where three people suffered trauma.
Two vehicles were involved in the traffic incident and fell to the side of the road. Two of the victims were treated at the scene, while one of them was taken to a medical center.
