Congratulations, young first responders.

Twenty-four young first responders earned their certificates accrediting them as new technicians in Pre-Hospital Care, where they acquired knowledge of specialized care for patients with trauma and other ailments.

Young volunteers who underwent demanding physical, theoretical, and practical tests over several weekends at the Ciudad Arce Seccional, where several Comandos de Salvamento delegations from the Western zone gathered.

The new Pre-Hospital Care technicians were trained by highly qualified personnel in the field. In addition, during the course, they acquired knowledge about venoclysis (injectables) and emergency childbirth, where the assistance of mannequins is used to simulate a real birth.

This training is made possible thanks to funding from Norwegian Popular Aid, APN, private companies in the Western zone, and altruistic individuals who provide part of the logistical support and food for the young first responders. A total of 35 young people begin the course, but by the end of the program, those who graduate are the ones who give their utmost effort to develop greater knowledge, which is put into practice during every emergency they attend.

The Delegates from the Western zone of Comandos de Salvamento thanked the Board of Directors and the Executive Directorate for the support they provided to make this new course for volunteers possible.
