DRIVER LOSES CONTROL AND DIES AFTER CRASHING INTO TREE

Comandos de Salvamento de El Salvador, Chinameca branch, San Miguel Department, responded to a traffic accident on the Pan-American Highway at the height of Cantón Las Lilas, where the driver of a vehicle lost control of his vehicle and crashed into a tree.

The victim, identified as Fidel Ángel Mejicanos Roble, 54, lost his life, possibly due to not wearing a seat belt, as his body was thrown approximately 5 meters through the air when the vehicle struck the tree on the highway from San Salvador to San Miguel.

Rescuers from Comandos de Salvamento de El Salvador arrived at the scene of the tragedy, where the victim was no longer showing vital signs. He was therefore covered while awaiting the arrival of Legal Medicine and judicial authorities for the legally required identification.

Fidel Ángel Mejicanos Robles was originally from Cantón Planes Primero in the Municipio of Chinameca, San Miguel.
