The Executive Directorate of Comandos de Salvamento de El Salvador has presented its emergency plan for these August holidays, which begin next Monday, July 31, at Sivarland, installed around Estadio Cuscatlán, where a first-aid post will be set up to assist visitors.
Comandos de Salvamento de El Salvador will also have the participation of more than 150 volunteers in the Desfile de Correos, which opens the August festivities in honor of the patron saint, “Divino Salvador del Mundo.” It will depart from the monument to Salvador del Mundo and travel along the main arteries of the capital.
Brigades with personnel specialized in Pre-Hospital Care, as well as Emergency Medical Technicians, doctors, and nurses, will deploy in the ambulances assigned to cover the various activities celebrating the August festivities.
Roberto Cruz, Executive Director of Comandos de Salvamento de El Salvador, stated that all volunteers will place their free time at the service of the Salvadoran people, with Vehicle and Vertical Rescue personnel at its central headquarters, as well as ambulances that will respond to the population’s emergencies.
Comandos de Salvamento de El Salvador will also provide coverage for religious activities such as the Transfiguration of Divino Salvador del Mundo on August 5, when thousands of Catholic worshippers attend the event.
