The two elderly men, Don Carlos and Don José, one 75 years old and the other 70, took part in the battle.

This afternoon, dozens of people visiting Plaza Morazán in the Historic Center of San Salvador witnessed one of the last fights between two elderly men who, without fear of the reasons, engaged in a battle.

The spectators expected the older adults not to go that far. However, the blows left Don Carlos, 75, as he is known in the area, injured.

Meanwhile, Don José, 70, left the scene, leaving his opponent lying on the ground. Therefore, rescuers from Comandos de Salvamento de El Salvador arrived at the scene to provide pre-hospital assistance to Don Carlos.

The volunteers checked the injuries Don Carlos had sustained and stabilized him at the scene, subsequently taking him to a doctor for examination of the trauma he received—not from the blows, but from the fall he suffered after losing control while dodging the oper caut thrown by his opponent.

Rescuers from Comandos de Salvamento de El Salvador assist Don Carlos, 75, who suffered head trauma.
