SERIOUS TRAFFIC ACCIDENT LEAVES TWO INJURED

A man and a woman sustained minor injuries in a serious traffic accident recorded on the Western Pan-American Highway from Nejapa toward Redondel Integración, where two vehicles collided.

Comandos de Salvamento de El Salvador dispatched units to respond to the emergency due to the severity of the collision. However, the drivers sustained minor injuries, which were initially treated by rescuers from Comandos de Salvamento de El Salvador and subsequently by medical personnel from the Emergency System who arrived at the scene.

PNC officers cordoned off the area to prevent another tragedy while waiting for specialized personnel to move the vehicles and reopen vehicular traffic through the area.

Meanwhile, volunteers from Comandos de Salvamento de El Salvador in Ciudad Arce assisted a motorcyclist who suffered a road accident on the Highway from Quezaltepeque toward Redondel Claudia Lars. The victim was stabilized at the accident scene.
