TRAPPED IN ACCIDENT ON THE ROAD TO THE AIRPORT

Two people were trapped in a traffic accident recorded at kilometer 32 of the road to El Salvador International Airport, where a truck veered off the roadway and crashed.

Comandos de Salvamento de El Salvador, together with other emergency-response organizations, are working to free the truck’s occupants, who were trapped among the twisted metal of the vehicle that was transporting purified water.

One of the victims has already been freed and is being transported urgently to a medical facility. Meanwhile, efforts are still underway to free the second patient and take him to a hospital.

Comandos de Salvamento de El Salvador asks drivers to avoid excessive speed during the rainy season, as well as to obey traffic signs.
