ONE INJURED IN CRASH ON CARRETERA DE ORO

This afternoon, rescuers from Comandos de Salvamento de El Salvador assisted a woman who suffered trauma after being involved in an accident in the vehicle in which she was traveling, at kilometer 19.5 of Carretera de Oro, in Ilopango.

Volunteers from Comandos de Salvamento treated Wendy Flores, 45, who suffered several traumas to her body due to the impact of the collision between the two vehicles, which were left partially destroyed.

Comandos de Salvamento de El Salvador urges people to respect traffic signs and speed limits, as well as to exercise responsibility behind the wheel by avoiding the consumption of alcoholic beverages, since, according to the Vice Ministry of Transportation, more than 6,400 traffic collisions have been recorded so far this year, leaving 510 people dead.
