This early morning, a fire destroyed a commercial establishment on Avenida Kirino Chávez in Apopa.

The fire alerted rescue services and Bomberos, who, thanks to their prompt action, managed to control the flames and prevent them from spreading to other nearby businesses.

For several minutes, Comandos de Salvamento supported the Cuerpo de Bomberos in opening the commercial establishment and controlling the fire, which destroyed nearly the entire hardware store.

Fires have proliferated in recent days, both structural fires and brush fires, as was the case in Ciudad Arce, where the fire was reported in the Planón sector of Ciudad Arce, consuming several blocks of burned land.

In addition, the flames destroyed 10 beehives and a jocote plantation. Therefore, the general public is urged not to burn trash outdoors and to avoid uncontrolled brush fires.
