Three families joined together to distribute food on Thanksgiving Day.

When a Salvadoran’s heart is big toward others, it does not matter where they are. Alexander Serrano, together with his wife Lucy Serrano, got up earlier this day with the mission of preparing food and blankets that were delivered to people without a roof in North Carolina, United States.

The city of Fayetteville, North Carolina, was the beneficiary, where the Serrano couple went to deliver the food. However, another group of people joined them to serve those in need on Thanksgiving Day.

Mónica Harrell-Gámez, who is married to a member of the United States Armed Forces, and Caroll Clemenns, a retired nurse, joined their efforts to distribute food in Fayetteville.

Alexander Serrano, a member of Comandos de Salvamento de El Salvador, walked through several streets to deliver blankets and refreshments, an action he has been carrying out for about five years.

People eat thanks to good Samaritans.
