The Ambassador of Canada, Karolina Guay, presented an important donation of biosecurity equipment to Comandos de Salvamento to protect the young volunteers who are on the front lines in the fight against COVID-19.
Karolina Guay stated that this assistance is part of a project involving several aspects with Comandos de Salvamento, aimed at protecting each of its members and preventing them from contracting the coronavirus, since they are part of the front-line teams and expose themselves more and more every day.
Roberto Cruz, Executive Director of Comandos de Salvamento, thanked the government of Canada for the gesture, which helps meet some of the basic needs required to confront the pandemic and, in this way, assist each emergency responder exposed to COVID-19.
