Roberto Cruz, Executive Director of Comandos gives explanations to the volunteers.

Norwegian People’s Aid, APN, donated the funds to purchase the laser thermometers, which are becoming part of the equipment used to prevent the coronavirus, which has already claimed the lives of eight people in El Salvador.

Comandos de Salvamento delivered the modern devices to its delegates so that they could have the basic equipment to monitor the patients treated daily and thus prevent the young volunteers from being affected by COVID-19.

By Saturday afternoon, 274 people had already been infected with the coronavirus, and 157 of those infected were local cases, meaning that the virus is within the national territory and, therefore, prevention measures must be taken more seriously.

The modern laser thermometer was donated by Norwegian People’s Aid, APN.
