A woman sustained several traumas Saturday night on the highway leading to El Salvador International Airport.
The incident occurred at around ten at night as rain was falling, which may have caused the woman driving her vehicle to lose control and collide with the median that took her off the roadway, at kilometer ten near San Marcos.
Medical and rescue units from Comandos de Salvamento went to the scene to assist the victim, who was still inside the vehicle. After stabilizing her, they transported her to a medical center for recovery.
Comandos de Salvamento continues providing assistance for traffic accidents, care for pregnant women, and common illnesses.
However, people with flu symptoms, cough, and COVID-19 symptoms are not treated, for the safety of its volunteers, who do not have the special protective suits.
