COMANDOS WILL NOT ATTEND PATIENTS WITH COVID-19 SYMPTOMS

The Board of Directors of Comandos de Salvamento has issued restrictions to its Delegates in order to guarantee the health of the volunteers who make up each of its branches, due to the treatment that must be given to patients who may present symptoms of the coronavirus.

To guarantee the protection of the rescuers, the members of the Board of Directors of Comandos de Salvamento will not attend cases involving patients who present the following symptoms: cough, runny nose, nasal congestion, headaches, sore throat, fatigue, or difficulty breathing, since the only ones authorized by the Central Government are the Medical Emergency System, SEM, which have the protective suits for the treatment of COVID-19.

Comandos de Salvamento states that they are willing to respond to the call of the Health authorities in case of an emergency, following training and equipment to be able to attend this type of case.
