MINOR DIES IN TRAFFIC ACCIDENT

A minor approximately three years old lost her life when the vehicle in which she was traveling with her father crashed at kilometer 28 of the road to El Salvador International Airport, in Comalapa.

According to reports, the driver lost control of the car, crashing and overturning onto the ditch that divides the highway. The minor, identified only as Génesis Camila, died at the scene, her small body remaining in the ditch while awaiting the authorities from Legal Medicine, the Prosecutor’s Office, and the Police, so that the body could be handed over to her relatives.

Meanwhile, at 11ª Avenida Sur and 6ª. Calle Poniente, a traffic accident involving a collective-transport microbus and a vehicle left one person injured, who was taken to a medical center.

At kilometer 18 of the Troncal del Norte highway, a new road collision left two people injured, who were treated by rescuers from Comandos de Salvamento.

The head-on collision between a sugarcane trailer truck and a truck, which entered the opposite lane, left its two occupants with minor trauma.
