At this moment, the west coast of the USA is enduring a “Frankenstorm” called Hurricane Sandy. The Coast Guard rescued 14 people who were aboard the HMS “Bounty” when it sank 90 miles southwest of North Carolina. The “Bounty” was built in 1962 for the film “Mutiny on the Bounty,” in which the famous Marlon Brando acted. Later, the vessel was featured in the Pirates of the Caribbean films with Johnny Depp. Here is the helicopter video filming the rescuers.
