This post is also available in: Spanish

Comandos de Salvamento sent vice president Luis Colatto of the board of directors  to Seattle in order to meet with International Representative Mark Hoffman. The goal of this trip is to show the work of Comandos to EMS and Community Health agencies in Central Washington. Luis is lead educator of the CDS EMS school and will be offering first aid classes in Spanish in Wenatchee and Quincy Washington.  The class will be offered at the Comfort Inn 815 Wenatchee Ave. North 6-9pm. The second class will be offered Thursday Nov 18 at High Tech High 404 1st Avenue SW Quincy 5-7pm. Another class through Quincy Community Health may be added.

CDS would also like to thank the Ballard brothers of Ballard Ambulance EMS service for giving Luis the opportunity to observe their work by doing ride alongs for the next few weeks. Comandos is thankful to Ballard for this cultural exchange opportunity. In the future, Comandos de Salvamento would be grateful to have Ballard staff at their base in San Salvador for some Salvadoran EMS immersion experiences.
