PROTECTIVE EQUIPMENT DONATED TO COMANDOS

Termo Encogibles donated five thousand protective gowns and 50 thousand pairs of over-gloves for use so that Comandos de Salvamento volunteers can protect themselves from COVID-19 infection.
Termo Encogibles, through its representative Jennifer Cabrera, delivered the items to the young rescuers so that the gowns could be very useful in the work carried out by Comandos de Salvamento during the COVID-19 emergency.
The Board of Directors of Comandos de Salvamento has emphatically stated that people suspected of having flu-like symptoms, headaches, dry cough, and high fever are not attended to, because the rescuers do not have the special suits needed to treat this type of patient, and the only ones authorized by the Government of President Nayib Bukele are the Medical Emergency System, SEM.
Comandos de Salvamento seeks to protect its personnel who are responding to emergencies because the virus is already local and there are asymptomatic people who could infect the rescuers; therefore, protective clothing is being used to prevent any infection.
The Board of Directors of Comandos de Salvamento especially thanks Termo Encogibles for the important donation delivered to the central headquarters, valued at three thousand dollars.

Rescuers debut some of the donated gowns.
