CONGRESSWOMAN MILENA MAYORGA DONATES FOOD TO COMANDOS

Congresswoman Milena Mayorga arrived this Wednesday at Comandos de Salvamento to deliver a small basic food basket to half a hundred volunteers who continue providing their humanitarian service during this pandemic.

The young rescuers, most of them with limited financial resources, dedicate their time to saving people’s lives when they are in danger, especially during the coronavirus pandemic.

The legislator, who has provided support to Comandos de Salvamento on previous occasions, dedicated part of her agenda to delivering the donation, which she personally handed to each volunteer. She also thanked them for the effort they make to help the Salvadoran people, despite not having sufficient funds to address the national emergency.

The Board of Directors appreciates the official’s gesture and invites others to help us lift the spirit of service of our volunteers by recognizing the commendable work they have carried out for the benefit of the Salvadoran people for 60 years.
