VICE PRESIDENCY OF THE REPUBLIC DELIVERS DONATION

The Vice President of the Republic, Lic. Félix Ulloa, delivered, through the Minister of Government, Mario Durán, and the Dirección General de Protección Civil, an important donation consisting of biosafety equipment for volunteers from first-response entities.
Comandos de Salvamento, Cruz Verde Salvadoreña, and Camilleros de El Salvador were the entities that benefited from this donation, allowing the young rescuers to continue providing services to the population during this pandemic.
Vice President Lic. Félix Ulloa stated that the supplies are part of the assistance from the “Agua Sin Fronteras” Trifinio Plan, which includes El Salvador, Honduras, and Guatemala.
In addition, a supply of food, bottled water, and other equipment was delivered.
This strengthens the volunteers’ spirit of service, since, under previous governments, Protección Civil only delivered to the entities that form part of this organization a 30-unit bundle of water for any emergency, whether during Holy Week or the August festivities.
