This post is also available in:

First responders from Comandos de Salvamento trained for several days in various classes in order to become part of the select group of young volunteers who completed the Basic Pre-Hospital Care Assistants course.
The aim is for the first responders to gain better knowledge of treating patients in emergency situations and to provide appropriate care to victims.
This training was made possible thanks to the efforts of the Emergency Medical System and the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA).
In this way, training was provided to 98 young first responders from Comandos de Salvamento, along with the strengthening of a group of instructors.
Volunteers who come from throughout the country, along with their delegates and the Board of Directors of Comandos de Salvamento together with the Executive Directorate, make the necessary efforts to provide food and lodging for the participants.
Today, once again, Comandos de Salvamento thanks the Emergency Medical System and JICA for their support in training its personnel.
