Ayuda Popular Noruega, APN, an organization that provides unconditional support to Comandos de Salvamento, delivered a supply of boots for the 26 young volunteers who aspire to become part of the Rescuers group.

Over 6 weekends, members of the different Comandos de Salvamento delegations will have to undergo theoretical and practical tests at the “Yolanda Elizabeth Ramírez” School, where the brave rescuers are trained.

Fourteen young women enrolled to become part of the specialized group of rescuers in the vertical-rescue branch, which responds in difficult areas when people have fallen into ravines, wells, or other places, and expert rescuers are needed to carry out the maneuvers to recover the victims.

Ayuda Popular Noruega, APN, has been providing funds since 1984 for the ongoing training of the young Comandos de Salvamento volunteers, and today it is a great help in training all the rescuers to provide better service to the population.
