Alexander Serrano, a veteran of Comandos de Salvamento de El Salvador residing in North Carolina, provided financial assistance so that the volunteers participating during the Easter season could have guaranteed meals.
Likewise, the company Big Cola has provided hydrating beverages for the personnel stationed on the country’s beaches and highways. The donation includes bottled purified water and energy drinks, benefiting the young rescuers who voluntarily dedicate their free time to helping others during this vacation season.
Another of the businesses has been a distributor of Catalana eggs, C. Imberton, Econored, and Sopas Laky, which donated a supply to Comandos de Salvamento de El Salvador.
In the first days of the vacation period, more than 10 people have already been reported dead in traffic accidents, which is why national and foreign tourists are asked to respect speed limits and traffic signs. They are also urged to follow the recommendations of emergency-services personnel in emergency situations.
